# PPAD

> PPAD (Persistent Protection After Download) is a low-friction Digital Rights Management (DRM) product by Digify. It encrypts emails and files in Gmail, Google Drive, and third-party platforms (via API) so that access control, tracking, watermarking, and revocation stay in force after a file is sent, forwarded, or downloaded — including protection against unauthorized people and AI tools. No desktop software is required for recipients; files open in-browser after identity verification (one-time passcode). PPAD is built on Digify's ISO 27001-certified, SOC 2 compliant security foundation (Digify: founded 2011, 800,000+ users, 130+ countries) and uses patent-pending, AES-256 layered encryption.
